girls with vitiligo, bar of soap

Casting Call for Girls with Vitiligo Using Dove Soap

Does your skin tell a story? Or have significance in your life? It’s a question most girls with vitiligo could answer with a resounding “yes.” And if that’s you – and you use Dove soap bars – there’s an opportunity waiting for you.

Just So, a creative and production agency based in London, is partnering with Dove and looking for women who have special relationships with their skin; whether because of physically demanding jobs, skin damage or unique skin conditions – like vitiligo.

“The project is about finding women who have compelling stories to tell about their skin,” said a representative from Just So. “We want to hear about the pride women have in their individual beauty as well as their love for using Dove Bar on their skin.”

The agency is looking for women over the age of 25 who have not had previous acting or modeling experience, and notes that participants in the final selection will be fully compensated for their time.

For the Girls with Vitiligo who are Dove-a-holics:

Its my first time to see something about vitiligo. I have vitiligo and suffered alot because of my different skin color. People in my area think a woman or girl can do something when she is pretty. But i prove them wrong. Yes, i have story to share and i would love to share.

Hello I am a Vitiligo woman and for awhile it took me a minute to embrace the beauty of it but seeing other woman with the same skin disorder made me want to reach out to others on this issue of vitiligo.

Penny, it took me years to feel okay in my own skin – and that might be because I’m 100% depigmented (naturally).Glad you’re embracing it and reaching out! Welcome to Living Dappled.
