Introducing UNITE, a New Global Vitiligo Support Group

Living with vitiligo can be a life-changing journey, filled with personal challenges and triumphs. To support individuals navigating this path, the Global Vitiligo Foundation is launching UNITE, a global vitiligo support community, with its first virtual meeting on Thursday, December 19th, at 8:30 PM ET.
UNITE is designed to offer support, connection and education for individuals living with vitiligo across the globe. This meeting provides a safe space for participants to share their experiences, challenges and successes, while also fostering a sense of community. UNITE seeks to bring together individuals from the U.S., Africa, Asia and Europe to foster empowerment and create a strong voice for vitiligo advocacy.
The first virtual meeting, which will be hosted on Zoom, will include introductions from leading vitiligo dermatologists—including Dr. Pearl Grimes, President of the GVF, and Dr. Richard Huggins, GVF Treasurer and Community Director—testimonials from individuals with vitiligo, and Q&A sessions. The meeting is free and open to the public, but does require registration through JotForm. Attendees of all ages are welcome.
Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been living with vitiligo for years, UNITE is an opportunity to find encouragement and belonging in a community that celebrates you just as you are. If you or someone you know could benefit from this supportive event, register today and join us in celebrating connection, education, and resilience.
